#1 ~ Slight crack in the upholstery tool, and the weird little rubber lint pickers (which for some reason weird me out when touched Lol) #2 ~ Dusting brush stripped. #3 ~ Slight distortion. |

#1 ~ 50/50 picture of the flex being cleaned using Cif cream. #2 ~ (unfortunately out of focus which I didn't notice at first) Dry bearing, which was packed with grease. #3 ~ Commy which is in very good condition. |

#1 ~ Motor all serviced. #2 ~ New foam cut and glued in place. #3 ~ Everything all cleaned, reassembled and ready to go. |

Andy,
I didn't know they were still using the DAM motor in March 1982! Though, I am sure while they already used the Spirit motors on our Portapowers during 1981, they continued using the DAM motors for the export machines (and I know the DAM upright itself, which to Europeans is the Convertible and to Aussies as the Dynamatic) was still being sold for export into the early 1990s), which hers is. ~Ben This post was last edited 06/27/2017 at 19:18 |
