While the Model 66 is a desirable machine, this machine has had a bag replacement. I myself would love to have it, but without the original bag, it won't sell for 100. An original bag would not have a different color bag top and it would have had white lettering instead of black. I would offer 50 if it is still available.

Sorry but wrong...

I sold this machine to Shane. I know everything about its history.
The bag IS original and NOT a "replacement".

The 66 bag had gold-tinted lettering originally that tended to fade a bit with age. That has happened to some degree with this machine but it IS original.

This 66 has had a very thorough restoration. It's running condition is perfect and it has NO warpage on the hood, which is UNHEARD of on an early run 66. You Will not find a nicer example. I think you're selling it too cheap Shane, $100 is a steal.

Hoover 66

I was also thinking the bag could be correct.More and better pictures would be helpful. But from what is shown above this would be a good deal for this or any 2 digit model number Convertible in similar condition.
