It's called an SPT. Looks kinda like a Bissell. Anyone know what this is a rebadge of? It's available on Houzz.

Can't say I've ever heard of that one. I bet it's a screamer though with that 1200 watt motor!

Just looks like more plasticrap to me, but then I'm more than a little biased--toward high-quality metal machines.

It's Chinese. It was also sold as Sunbeam, Cirrus, etc. It's overall a decent vacuum but not the greatest.

SPT ...

... is a Chinese company known also as SunPenTown.  I have seen many of their appliances such as induction cooktops on eBay.  I know nothing more about the company, and as such would be quite leery of their products.  Just my nickel's worth ...

I...

Remember back in the day when Target sold this as a Sunbeam of many people complaining it caught on fire... I'm sure the quality is pretty horrible, interesting thing is the brushroll inside it looks like a rip off of the Hoover Activator. About the only nice thing about it is the brushroll and the fact all parts are available from Essco.
