The Kirby 514 I picked out of an outdoor thrift shop in Twenty nine Palms, CA for 5 bucks. The bag was destroyed on it so I chucked it, gladly it was not original. It was nestled into the sand next to a washing machine.

The 516 I saw in a trash bin. It's in worse shape. Sun faded, rusty spots, it'll probably be a parts donor. The pic shows the nozzle and front bearing plate.

The best thing I grabbed is the Kenmore Powermate. It runs great but is missing the rug attachment.
