I have recently acquired a British made Hoover 750. I was looking for a scan of an instruction manual. The Hoover is working, but in need of restoration. The little bracket which holds the two back wheels has sheared off the aluminium body. Can this be welded as an alloy or otherwise replaced. I am not worried about a perfect repair only restoring the cleaner to full working condition. would I stand more chance of getting obsolete parts by trying to find them on the net in the USA.

regards alex
