I just got a Eureka Self-Propelled ESP upright, model 5071D, and it needs a new headlight bulb.  Problem is, I'm not sure how to change it!  I can change bulbs in the non-SP models with ease, but the SP models are a mystery to me.  Can anyone give me a little guidance?  Thanks!

On the sides of your lens cap, you will see a notch on each side. Place small flat head screw driver in the notch and pry outwards. It should pop each side and then you can remove lens for easy access to the bulb. Then it just snaps back in place.

Thank you, Bud!

I should have thought of that, but I really appreciate you reminding me of the procedure.  It's a standard procedure on Eurekas of that era, from what I recall.
