From the home of a vacuum collector. This is a beautiful Canadian Electrolux Model 88 vacuum cleaner. The original owner either didn’t use it or was meticulous about maintaining it. It has literally no scratches and the hose is like new. All original and includes the original sales receipt from 1965 along with the Handikit and owner’s manual. The pictures speak for themselves. This was used as a display in my collection. I’ve moved so I must downsize. I will negotiate shipping to Canada although the listing shows only shipping to the US. Please contact me for additional information or requested photos. Any shipping charges less than quoted amount will be refunded. Shipping charges include professional packing by UPS.

Beautiful for you Electrolux experts is this model the equivalent of the USA model G? Ive been looking for a mint model G to no avail. This could be the next best thing. Thanks

check ebay and shop goodwill frequently

i just recently picked up 3 beautiful model g's on ebay all for cheap, a tan g nearly mint for 100 http://www.ebay.com/itm/142295598036QUES...

and two turquise g's, a 1962 turquise g for 42.55(seller gave 20 off because i had to pull the rear end off and clean some debris out)http://www.ebay.com/itm/122431877323QUES...

and a mid run turquise g for only 30.16, needed a plug. http://www.ebay.com/itm/222443669820QUES...

none of these machines except maybe the tan g which i have replaced the latch button on, but they are all in overall excellent shape for very little money and cleaned up nicely with quadruple zero steel wool aluminum polish and a wet rag with some dawn

Yeah, but the shipping is crazy now....especially from back east this way. Used to be nobody mentioned the shipping when they were talking about their eBay 'finds'.

So one wins the auction for say a $35 vac, but pays $75 shipping....that's not a $35 vac, but a $110 vac.
