Kirby will rebuild your D80, however with that said, you need to ask the Rebuild dept when you call and make sure they still have the D80 Trim color, bag, etc. I had a Kirby 505 rebuilt and they did not have black trim and told me so and that it would come back in the brown trim of the D50. Looked great when it came back, I now have a NOS 505 bag that I would like to put back on. Am thinking about calling Kirby myself and see what trim color they are using now. If it's black, I would consider sending mine back and then I can use my nos original bag.
PS Don't be surprised if you get a recording saying leave your name and phone number and they will get back to you. That is normal, and they will return your call, perhaps not that day but soon after. PR-21 Bud | ||

I believe that I did not make myself clear. I need to find a Kirby Dual Sanitronic 80 vacuum to buy. So basically I am just looking for a vacuum right now | ||
