Hi guys,
I was at work yesterday (I work fast food) and my manager had me vacuum the carpeted dining room. We only have a cheap Walmart Bissell vacuum so I wasn't expecting much, but I was still disappointed with the performance. It took many passes over the carpet to get the bits of paper and salt and whatever else had been spilled during our dinner rush, and did even worse by the door on the mat leaving most behind or spitting it back at me. I'd love to ask for a better one but I'm a bit too new to start asking them to change things. SO what I'd like to know is, for anyone who worked in a restaurant or any other busy area, what Kind of vacuum did you guys use while cleaning?
Thanks for listening.

Sanitaire is always a great choice

Restuarant vacuums-the floors in these get gbreasy-most use Hokey type sweepers. They steam clean the carpedts every few months instead. The Sanitairs I have seen used by restuarants here are NASTY-the fancases getg caked with a greasde like slurry-erodes the fans. The dump bags are greasy and disgusting. For an eatery use a sweeper instead. And these are quiet-won't disturb folks that are eating.Resturants arfe good businedss for truck mount cleaners.
