I was offered today a blue Kirby Tradition that I did not really need or want.I would have taken it at a bargain yard sale price but it was more.
It was NICE,COMPLETE and had the early lockout switch in the headlight assembly.I looked at it in a car and did not plug in but it appeared VERY nice and should work well.It included--large box,rug renovator in box, hose and attachments with cardboard storage box, original contract(sold at less than $400),literature & instruction book showing white plastic tool case that was not produced, floor buffer, fill tube for paper bags & metal fan.It looked GOOD showing little use with many parts showing NO use.
Tom is very familiar with Kirby of this era.
I can contact the seller(not me)if any have SERIOUS interest.
