Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the cyclovac brand of central vacuums. Not too many posts in the forum about them compared to others such as vacuflo or vacumaid. I think the Riccar central vacuums are actually rebranded models from this company. Was looking at their site and a few of their units sound pretty impresssive. They don't sell their vacuums on line though , instead they insist that you buy from a dealer, so their sales method is definitely behind the times. Apparently you can purchase these models to use just bags, a hybrid unit, or bagless. It's interesting that you can do this, usually each model is only made one way. Here are the units I was drooling over.
First there's teh 715 model.

Based on the specs, you can tell that both of these slightly favor the water lift over airflow, of course, as one increases, the other decreases.

I used them once what a powerful machine !
It was at a fair they had a booth of the central vacs i used it for an hours cleaning there rug haha talking whit them was nice great machine.It was a few w years ago my town had a fair type thing were all the town business would show there lates stuff including vacuum .I was one happy collector trying out a central vac haha

I'm a Cyclovac dealer in Saskatchewan, Canada, and we've done very well with the entire line-up. American made motors, and Canadian made bodies. I've been to the factory and it's pretty impressive. We have had trouble with the motors in the 315, and 715 units. In the past, the bypass motors have been reliable. It seems it's the opposite. The flo thru motors in some of the hybrid's and E models have been bullet proof, and quiet. I'd stay away from the 715. The 2015 is a beast-dual motors in series makes 160" waterlift. Airflo isn't as good, but who cares! Get it with hybrid filtration, use the bags, and don't look back.

Also another good suggestion is the H615. It's a promo unit now, 700aw, flo thru motor, hybrid, and 25 year warranty. Good luck!
