I seem to remember a Eureka from the late 80's to maybe late 90's. It would have been a sibling to the Eureka Mighty Mite. I think it was called a Floor Show. But it wad a Mighty Might with a power nozzle. I remember seeing it in two stores. One wad a Vacuum Store in Saint Joe and the other store was in Saugatuck. I don't think it lasted that long.
Does anyone else remember this? |

I had one in the 80's The only thing I liked about it was the Nice Purple color The hose was to cheap but it was okay for what it was. I wish now I wouldn't have gotten rid of it..... |

Indeed, the little power nozzle Eureka created for their successful Boss Lite rechargeable stick vac was also marketed separately on its own. First as the lightweight electrified power nozzle for the Mighty Mite Floor Show and second as a mini electric turbo nozzle for stairs and upholstery. It was designed to connect directly to the gas-pump handle of an Express canister hose, or later the World Vac and Rally hose handles.
Eureka kept on doing cool things for vacuums throughout the 1980's, but somehow lost their bearings and kept discontinuing great designs by the early 1990's. Maybe short-sighted management decisions coming from parent Electrolux headquarters in Sweden... :-( |
