So yesterday I went back to this local junk to store to check out this PN, thinking I would use it on my 1205. The man wanted 3.00 for it with the hose, so I figured why not. While I was rummaging around I found an almost complete set of tools for a Kirby Heritage for 4.00. And then I saw another vacuum hose, traced it through the rubble to an Elextrolux Epic 6000SR. I asked the man what he wanted for it, he said since he didnt remember where it came from 5.00. So i took it. Changed the bag, it actually works pretty good. But after trying to look that model up here and on google, I havent been able to find one with that color combination. Maybe it is a confused model?

Nice finds even if they're mismatched.

The Model 1718 Epic 6000SR was sold from circa 1992-93 with the braided hose (same colors as the 1521 Ultralux Classic sold alongside it), standard wands, and pn model 1693 with a navy blue cover. The side panels have been painted, because the original color would have been navy blue. A year or so later, Electrolux changed the model and name to 1762 Epic 6500SR in the same color combo but equipped with the new-style vinyl hose, electric wands, and pn model 1684. The 6500SR is still in the current Aerus line-up as the C153E Lux Legacy in pitch black.

Other cleaners in the line-up at the same time as the Epic 6000SR were the Epic 3000SR upright, the 1717C Prolux commercial upright, CB2000 Prolux commercial canister, & the 1732 Epic Floor Pro.

The gray power nozzle without a headlight looks like a model N115F that would have been sold with the C101G Ambassador III in the same color from circa 1995-97.
