Have you had to evacuate because of the compromised spillway in Oroville? Hope all is well.

Hi Mike, still home, though not sure it was a good idea. I live near the river and low area too. But I don't travel well with my back and hip and that new kitten! Car is packed, but the most emergent part has passed. The roads were a parking lot for hours last evening, got as ready as I could. Friends I would have went to, COULD I have gotten to them stayed as well, both houses. Thanks for the concern! PS, I may be wrong to feel this way, but my dad helped build that dam, so that makes one somehow feel better

Current conditions 4 ft below emergency spillway that was the trouble. Looking into repairs on that now

Ok, glad you are OK David!

The dam looks to be fine. The depth of the concrete in the spillway needs to be deeper.

Down about 23 ft now, looking for 50 with rain coming this next week or two, better, but still some issues. Car packed, but still home

Glad you are still doing ok.

Though I know you guys needed the rain, we never want to be flushed away.

Lake is down 30 ft, rain is coming so will not be dropping as fast. They would like to hit 50 ft down.

Its raining pretty good, but still double going out what is going into the dam. Now 41 ft down, releases have slowed a bit to take pressure of the system
