I'm probs gonna use this as a service vac. I took the handle and base off. I then took a Shop-Vac hose that I had lying around and spliced it to the original hose. for the hose end, I used a hacksaw on the end of a wand I also had lying around. I then sealed it with Duck Tape. On it's back it looks like a cylinder vac. LOL.

"service vac"

You have reinvented the Lift Off!Should work well for many jobs.
You should add a'safety cover'over the former belt shaft.Maybe attach a cap from spray paint can or similar.

I used my human-to-vacuum telekinesis powers to tell you what it's thinking. It's thinking "OH GOD WHY I LIKED IT BETTER IN THE PARTS BIN OH WHY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Oh, and about the belt shaft, I will probably use a hacksaw and cut it off.
