A Hamilton Beach that is! I picked these up over the weekend. Went on a classic appliance pick up........the owner had these two vacs in his garage and to my surprise offered them to me with out me even having to ask!.

The Sunbeam is a working vac also and is in much better shape. This must be a more deluxe version with the "chrome" accents.......

Inside........the inner workings seem to be very "Eureka like".... Was this a Eureka copy or made for Sunbeam by Eureka?

Those are two really nice vacuums, especially the Sunbeam, it's kind of a Celebrity clone. The chrome is especially appealing.

You don't see too many of the Hamilton Beach, and i agree, the Sunbeam appears to be a more deluxe model. I've seen similar Sunbeams in tan 7 brown, Blue, and green, the tan ones being the oldest if I'm not mistaken.
And Alan, it was actually the other way around--they had been making the Sunbeams for quite a few years before production began on the Celebrity.

Maybe Sunbeam's success prompted Hoover to create the Celebrity then. Either way, it's a great design. I'm partial to the Celebrity.

Hey Jimmy! I love the Hamilton Beech! Did you get any of the hose and tools with it? I also have a similar Sunbeam, but in blue and chrome. Later, Trg
