Picked up one of these today, have not "processed" it yet. Of course I went looking for a User's Manual to no avail. It is the red straight suction model with a carry strap. Looks good so far, nice cosmetic shape.

I probably won't keep it, but sell it if anyone is interested. I have one new bag with it. I could not find another in my stash.

I will take a picture once it is cleaned and disinfected. Has the hose, dusting and crevice tools. I will add wands and a floor tool.

Add.....Dirt Devil Purple Can Vac with Power Nozzle

A friend was cleaning out and gave it to me. No tools, but looks good so far. I had had my eye on it after asking once about it last year. Don't remember what the response was.

Stopped at my favorite Sew/Vac place and bought the bags. They were in the back, so next time I need to ask about that stash.

Purple Can Vac progress....

Too dusty to just wipe out, so, I took it apart. I found all but one screw, they hid that one well. The rear left wheel has a hole, behind the cover, strategically place to allow access to two of the screws. I found the first but did not notice the last.

I will have to dust the motor and electrical stuff. I remembered to take pictures to ensure the wiring returns to the correct spots.

All plastic will be washed this coming week.

Then it is the PN's turn next.

I love those little power nozzles. They do a pretty good job. I have one of those nozzles that I often use as a universal for many of my vacuums when I don't feel like getting out the other random nozzles for whatever machine i'm using that day

Warm enough day today....

to "power" wash the dismantled, DD Can Vac.......along with 3 dyson cyclones plus one extra cylinder off a Dc07. Warm day, allowed for quick drying.

Found a real easy and thorough way to scrub out Dyson hoses. Soak, insert a long, soft, cylindrical brush and swirl. Rinse and hang out to dry.
