I love my two Luxes (Model G and Model 30) but the only problem are the rubber hose bladder dry rots. I'm sure this has happened to at least several of you all. I have gone through three hoses, and they were all dry rotted. I got sick of the low suction power from my machine and did this...

I only have one good original Electrolux hose and thats to my model g and it works like a champ. However I have 3 Olympian one hoses and they all have lose their suction. So one of the hoses I wrapped in duct tape. It works but the hose way entirely to stiff now.
