Does anyone on here have one and if so what is your serial number? Curious to see how many were made and can't find any info for them online. Mine is serial number 16.

These Traditions were sold to whichever Kirby dealer had sold the most at the time.

They had anodized gold plating on the aluminum parts, plus used the same rosewood trim as on the prior Classic Omega 1CB.

Not only that, there were also gold-plated Heritage IIs.

What I've seen

The Kirby dealer I worked for in the 1990's had two golden Kirbys. One was the Tradition with brown bag and rosewood handle-fork label. The other was the Heritage II. I never saw the Tradition used, but they did use the Heritage II to vacuum the inner office. A golden Kirby is on my wish list...but very, very unlikely.
