Okay, so I had originally planned to devise an alternative wand and attachments set up for this vacuum. This was the plan until I bought a Air-Way Caddy and most of the attachments. So now I am stuck with needing a pair of wands and the dusting brush attachment.

I see that the wands are very specific and I can not figure out a way to replicate the bottom configuration that allows the attachments to snap on and swivel.

So now, Community/Hive Mind, can someone help me out with the missing Dusting Brush and Wands? Or suggest a wand set that would work?

I have never quite found another set of wands that work. Everything for AirWay was brand specific. I don't have anymore wands, but you could try older Vac Shops, or try calling The Henry Company, in Hammond.

Ah, the Henry company in Hammond, Indiana. I know it well!

John Henry was a good friend of mine, got me a lot of my older machines, and a ton of paperwork.

One afternoon in the Summer of 1980 he asked me if I'd been to the Hoover Historical Center in North Canton, Ohio. I said no, so he put me in touch with Stacy Krammes.

The rest, as they say is history.

I have been helped...

lots of times by John and a new (to me) guy named Davis. I have gotten some of the oddest items from them.

Ummm,

I think I got it. I finally got a good look at the attachment end of the wand. There is a piece riveted on the end in a certain place. It is a ring, which snugs the wand and includes a 90 degree ridge. (Bad description). Perhaps a plumbing piece would work.

I may have an extra Rainbow or Royal wand that I can alter.
