Hello everyone. This is my first post, so hi! Anyways, I am searching for any and all vintage Eureka Canister vacuums. I would really like if they had most or all of the original attachments, and I prefer roto-matic over straight suction. My grandparents had a 63 princess and I've been searching for one of those for forever so that would be amazing too. Any offers I will look at.

Thank you.

Welcome EurekaFan Harrison! So glad to see another lover of Eurekas posting here at Vacuumland!

I don't collect Eurekas, but have been fascinated by them ever since I was a young boy in the 1960's.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks!

I was very excited to see another Eureka lover before I even signed up. I will definitely have much to talk about, lol. Tell me if you see anything Eureka related for sale! I became interested in them because of my grandparent's princess like I already said. I read your profile and see you cannot collect and I feel bad, but oh well, it's life. BTW, did you see the picture of the day? ;-)

I have a Eureka

Hello, if you're looking for a Eureka I have a complete one with it's original storage hassock. It's a "MobileAire" model, triangular shape. I can shoot some pics of it. Feel free to email me at thetrain1979@gmail.com. Nathan L. Thomas

Model 703A

I just got this "Prince" (as opposed to "princess") yesterday, in the hassock. Don't know anything about this particular model. I've never seen one with the rubber bumper on top as well as the middle. Haven't had a chance to even go over it with spray cleaner yet. I was surprised to see the owners manual as well as the sales literature in the box as well.

About the Model 703A

That's really interesting! Are you planning to keep it?

OMG! It's the mysterious and rare Eureka "Prince" in real life! There was another blue Prince model as well in the 1960's that seemed to feature a unique more powerful "turbojet" motor. But the canister's body looked one of the "run-of-the-mill" square blue Princesses.

You know, that extremely rare top lip bumper seems vaguely familiar. It reminds me of one of the advertisements I saw for Mexican Kolblenz canister from the 1960's which was a design that must have been licensed by Eureka Williams. I might be mistaken, not sure though....

Interesting

That top bumper seems a little redundant, considering that the circumference of the machine is larger around the middle, which would cause the regular, center bumper to hit any furniture, or walls first. Either way, it's very interesting looking. I've certainly never seen one.

Hey Tom! Nice Eureka. I would love to see more pics and know where you found it. Also, could you get me a copy of the owners manual please? Thanks much, Toby G.

This has been sitting on OfferUp here for a few weeks

I can ask about it if you're interested in it. Cute little machine.

I would definitely go for that little Eureka, it's very nice and the power nozzle with such a small vacuum is interesting to see for sure.
