So today my fiancé was out checking some thrift stores for me some vacuums and sent me a picture of this Regina ElectrikBroom. I wanted it so bad and he said that they had already sold it. Well today I came home and he told me to go look in the dining room and to my surprise he was actually the one who had bought it. :) I have been wanting one of these for some time and I love love the color! I love when he surprises me with vacuums lol.

That is awesome...

Not just the vacuum, but your guy.

It's always nice to have someone who supports your hobby. I am lucky to have someone who does...he may not understand my craziness but supports it. Lol

I have one myself, has an interesting floral pattern on it. I really like mine, I think you'll enjoy yours.

Nice surprise!

That's very sweet. I've lived with the same person for 16 years, even though we're not "together". We've butted heads plenty of times over the years, over vacuums, but now and then, he will find one for me, or help me get in if it's something I really want. We live together like any other couple, but sometimes I think we might as well be a thousand miles apart. Tmi, I'm sure... Just rambling. Anyway nice Regina, and nice boyfriend. It's often hard for people to understand the vacuum thing. When I was younger, and in other relationships, I had many a fight over vacuums.

Now that is a real odd ball especially from the 1985-88 time frame. The only color I have seen in the 3 speed series is the brick colored orangish versions. The fact it has a plain no patterned bag suggest a 1987-88 time frame when they were all coming that way. For the most part the one speed was blue like this 3 speed, the two speed was tan with a dark brown bag and the 3 speed was the brick/orange color with matching bag. In all of my vast collection I have never come across one like this before. Congrats

I appreciate all of the info, I didn't know a lot about this machine. Nice to know I have something kind of rare!
