It's a nice one...have no idea why they don't plug it in and test it... I already have one in the same condition but would be interested (because it's such a cool piece) ...shipping too high and untested keeps me away. |

With no height adjuster levers, it's pre-1928. The seller has no idea the handle is removable, which is why the shipping is so high. Whomever buys it (there are currently 15 bids), be sure to ask the seller to remove the indicator and place it inside something like an old coffee can, well wrapped, to protect it. The clear 'plastic' is actually celluloid (film material) and will crack if you look at it wrong. Old Eureka type A bags or Hoover type C bags can be made to work in it. Do NOT use until you have greased the grease cups with Vaseline (perfect grease for the Air-Way motor - learned that trick from Stan Kann more than 4 decades ago).
