Well I finally cleared up the question of who sent me the Electrolux Model LX. It was not Larry, it was my mom, acting through him!

Last November she took a fall, landed in a rehab to treat a light fracture of the pelvis (got home on December 20) and while in the nursing home she asked Larry what I wanted for Christmas. He knew I was watching the bidding, bought it and had it sent here.

Mom fessed up last night, so that solves that. By the way, mom has been getting me vacuums for Christmas most of my adult life.

Happy New Year to you all, and by the way, the Vacuum Cleaner Collector's Club turns 34 tomorrow. My thanks to John Lucia for helping me get it started.
Alex Taber.
