So when I was 6/7 I went to sears to buy my own vacuum my self I saved up money and went to the vacuum department with 90$ on me i have always really loved Hoover my wind tunnel 3 pet pro is Amazing! I'll make a post about that one later but when I went to Sears that day I was looking at a eureka maxima bag less and a bottom of line display kenmore and the hover tempo both bagged and bagless the bagless model was available in 2 colors white and yellow I got the yellow one and kept it from 2005 to 2011 when my aunt used it for her cleaning business and snapped the handle but there's very little info on this Hoover I am aware that it's not Hoovers best designed vacuum but it's still amazing you got the same power as a wind tunnel in a bagless light wieght design well fast forward to 2014 when my mom wanted to buy a sanitaire maid saver (the 115$ amozon one ) I saw a website selling these brand new in box I quickly bought one and some part of me was thinking it was to good to be true I was kinda right it but not the only thing that's worng it that the dust bin says widepath bagless windtunnel instead of tempo bagless but am still happy it looked referbed but am still happy it came as if unused ever for me it's my most prized possession and my favorite vacuum of all time idk why I love it so much but it's just such a good performer and I love the look. I still think I should've bought the white one and left it brand new in box till I was older and I could actually take care of my vacuums lol anyway I was wondering if anyone else ever had one these or has seen one

My Grandpa used to own one at his cabin, I can't remember if it was either dark blue or black but I could've sworn that it was dark blue. We both HATED it, it kept clogging the filters, the filtration was horrible, it's a mess to clean the filters, and the worst part was it kept spitting Capture carpet powder out when we tried to suck it up (Because it keeps clogging the filters). Later on someone gave him a Kenmore 2621 Canister to replace it and he later gave the Hoover away. In my opinion, I think that is the worst filtration setup that Hoover ever invented and to be honest, it still did a really good job on carpets but I still never missed that thing. I'm glad they no longer sell those bagless models.

It's always nice to hear when someone finds a childhood machine, or one of their dream machines. In other news: I'm getting old, apparently. |

I had a yellow one just like this one a few years ago, along with a red one very recently. They have decent suction when the filters are clean. They also use a very aggressive brushroll, just like its bagged counterparts. Sadly, it really does use a terrible bagless design. There isn't a gasket at the top of the dirt container to create a good seal. The bottom doesn't seal well either and it is easy to see the dust build up on the outside of the container. I personally wouldn't recommend one, but I understand the sentimental value of this machine.

I remember now that it was dark blue, the black model was actually sold as a Turbopower version which I've serviced those before.

The black version of that Widepath Bagless was one of the 2 versions of the Turbopower 3000. Version 1 was a Hard Cover Elite and the second version was the black Widepath Bagless. The Windtunnel Widepath Bagless bin that Rainbowvacfane2's bagless Tempo had come from a Special version of These uprights called The Windtunnel Widepath Bagless. One came in black which I think was a Sears exclusive, and a maroon one that was the standard model. Both had a tube that was attached to the lower hose. According to PartsWarehouse.com, this was called a Hose Door Assembly. I think these models were bagless versions of the Windtunnel Lite. Below is a link to the manual.
