When I returned from judging a competiton last week, I found this in my mail.  There was a recent photo on ebay of The Hoover Company, circa 1927.   Unable to login, I missed it.  Charles copied it, digitally, and sent a copy to me.

It was VERY thoughtful. I'll frame it and it will find a special spot here in my home.

Again,  thank you.  It was most considerate of you.

 John

You're most welcome. I can't think of anyone who would appreciate it more than "Mr. Hoover." smile

It will grace a wall here

with a few other photos of the entire "Hoover world".  You'll see it hanging  (the picture, of course), soon.

Some people are very kind. I've made

lifelong friends in here. Sadly, others slip away....revealing that their sincerity, loyalty, etc was never really there. Some come across one way, but, turn out to be very different.
Judging a book by its cover, or 'curb appeal' is something. To quote Dr. Phil, "wait until you get them home and unwrap them, then you find out what they're really like'. That is so very true. I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of people. Sometimes, I hit the mark, both about the positive AND the negative.
Charles did a very thoughtful thing, and I truly appreciate it.
I try to treat others as I would like to be treated. Sometimes, I treat people far better than they have treated me, although, I'm not perfect, either. We all have our faults. Some are just magnified...so clearly out there for the world to see.

Unfortunately I've never met Mr. Lester though I've been chatting with him on here as well as email for the past decade and he is a very kind man. I thoroughly enjoy reading his posts.

We will have to meet someday
