This is fairly simple but everyone loves it, A slight variation on my Grandmother Craigs recipe,
1 big iron skillet full of plain cornbread
1 small bag of Pepperidge Farms Herb Seasoned dressing mix.
2 big onions chopped,
4 or 5 ribs of celery chopped
1 stick butter
1 boiled egg mashed
1/2 pound Nesses extra sage sausage
Melt butter saute onion and celery, brown and crumble sausage, add all to cornbread and dressing mix, add egg if used, then add about 2 tsp poultry seasoning, and a tablespoon of sage, salt and pepper to taste, add good rich broth until moist, adjust seasonings, bake in 9x13 greased pan at 375 for about an hour.
