Hey everyone, hope you are all having a great Thanksgiving weekend. Last week, I got word from Great Vacs that my Diplomat LX that was over there for almost a month is already done and I just picked it up yesterday. I am overall impressed by how well they really cleaned this up. I never had anything serviced by them before but I always recommended their products to others that were wanting to get a Kirby or a Rainbow at a great price. Only costed me $60 for just a cleanup but what I was really amazed is that they even replaced the bag, the filter, and the brushroll at no charge (I even told them I wasn't interested in getting those replaced). I was also glad that they even cleaned up some dirty brown stains that were on the hose. Other than that, this looks and runs like brand new. It's actually a little louder than it was before but I not really bothered.
Right now my Prolux is over there also getting serviced as well and I'm expecting it should be done before Christmas. When I do get it back, I'll later post pictures of that one on this thread. So just thought I would share my overall experience with Great Vacs and any Utah collectors that want their high end vacuums to get serviced like Kirby, Rainbow, or Electrolux, I highly recommend this place. |

kudos's for getting it fixed properly, and finding a good repair shop. great machine.. very few people maintain their stuff today, vacuum should last another 25+ years. hard to find a repair place around here. |

They seem like good people, I bought a kit from them that lets you add a power nozzle to a backpack vacuum, works really well. |

Got this back today and they overall once again impressed me. They pretty much did exactly what they did on my Diplomat LX, but unfortunately they already ran out of bags and filters because they had a bunch of Aerus upright vacuums that were getting ready to be sold online so right now this doesn't have a bag or a filter in it. Sadly the odor inside the motor didn't go away so I'm definitely getting a post filter on this, I also still need to get the bumper and the bag nozzle replaced so the video of this will have to be put on hold.
And I'll still keep this thread open because there's another Electrolux or Aerus of mine that I will also take to Great vacs to get it serviced as well and it's the Tristar MG2 because that one is also made by Aerus. |

I also took pictures inside the warehouse this time and I thought that half cut Rainbow looked really cool.
