WOW. Kirby vacuums don't have anything on this baby -- Not only does it vacuum and polish floors and all the other stuff the Kirby does, it also grinds meat!! Have any of y'all ever seen one?

That sucker was built to last! They would never do that nowadays. Today's version would be designed with self-destructing circuit boards that would burn up right after the warranty expires to keep you buying a new one every couple of years.

Im thinking

It was made more like 1950s...Look at the outfits the women were wearing in the manual and the car pictured...still, I would LOVE to find one of those!!

Hans is correct, this is 1950s and very late 1950s at that. They show up occasionally on ebay here, probably more frequently in their native Germany. When I have seen them before they are usually presented as a stick vac, something that was never that popular here

As reading too, it seems it had almost no use in the first 25 years of life, that helps often. Somehow doubt it vacuumed well, just a feeling
