I got a Whirlpool CVR 2000 for 18$. It works pretty bad, but it does need a new belt and it would appreciate a new brushroll. It looks like a power nozzle for a canister vac, and it's only 1.9 amps!

It is just a power nozzle with its own suction fan basically.
Rainbow used this nozzle before they adapted the Eureka made nozzle in the mid 70s.

Whirlpool CVR 2000 Value

I have just "inherited" a Whirlpool CVR 2000 Vacuum. It's a bit dusty, but appears to work fine. Does anyone know the value of this vacuum? I have had a lot of fun researching it, and I understand they are quite rare.

I don't have any bags for it, but I understand I can improvise and make some for it.

Well, as my great-grandfather was known to have said regarding horses, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it.

Vacuums are such a niche collectible, it's hard to put an accurate value on them. What is a treasure to one person is worthless junk to another, and everybody on eBay thinks they've got an incredible treasure to sell and they want ten times what any rational person will pay for it. Meanwhile, thrift store prices are just all over the place with absolutely no rhyme or reason. As the manager of one told me a few months ago, it all depends on who has the price gun in their hand when the item comes in.
