He, pet rescue organization. All shots, tests and neutered .4-5months? thinking Felix Maybe? Folks of a certain age will get that.

Felix sounds good, used to watch it all the time. There was Top Cat too about that time. I've had just about every critter that walks, flies, or swims at this point but I've had Maxmillion Pionus parrots for about 40 years now, Nerd for 31 years, Lurch for about 6 till we made a dumb mistake and he escaped, and now Dobby since about late April after a friend knew what happened and could no longer keep him so asked if I'd be his new Dad. He is the most gentle and well adjusted one yet although super hyper and into everything. Not the critter for everyone as you have to earn their trust and love but once your there they are loyal for the rest of their life and can be loving family members in their own way.
Hope you get a long happy life together, always loved the cats we had.

Cute! I had a cat like that

"Scooter" I'm allergic to cats now, and many dogs. We might get a Havanese, or another hypo allergenic pup.

That looks more like a six-pack to me. The calico whose hind end is sticking out of the pile in the upper left corner looks like mine.

Pinot

human's profile picture
I have a new addition of my own. Her name is Pinot, as in pinot noir (the 't' is silent) and she's about nine months old. This little cutie came to live with me Wednesday and is quickly making herself at home, much to the consternation of my six-year-old calico Lily (photo 3), who is less than pleased with the idea of sharing accommodations with a newcomer. But Pinot is making a conscious decision to have a good attitude, regardless of how much Lily hisses and growls at her. She just lays there and washes herself, seemingly fully aware she doesn't have to come to every fight she's invited to. I'm sure they'll work it out in time.

Vet today at 2:30, still has this forever hair ball cough? Still loose stools but a distressed Saturday, felt a fever. I think hairball was moving and blocked him up, hope to find out for sure.

That could also be a change in food.

That happened to my little Harold. It took a while. I boiled chicken and rice for him for weeks.
Hope all is well.
Harold just turned ONE !!
And, poor Arthur was dead a YEAR yesterday.

Vet took pics, no hair ball, but a lung noise, probably not pneumonia but working on it, not a hair ball, they took pics. Said lower gi distress also. Shot, 2 different meds for a week, $307.

Yeah, those vet bills can really add up. Pinot needs to go in for her second round of shots shortly. The folks I got her from had done the first round and gotten her spayed so that's a $280 expense I managed to avoid. Very generous of them, I must say.

Hope Felix feels better soon.

My cat

Scooter of many years ago in another life got hairballs frequently also. I put that gel in his food they make for them and it helped a lot.

Great to hear he's on the mend!

After a week together, my two are beginning to forge a fragile peace. They're not snuggling up together yet, but they have managed to stay on the bed together for a short while, albeit on opposite sides of a pile of laundry I was folding.

I experienced a minor miracle this morning when I woke up to find both cats asleep on the bed with me. Pinot was up near the head on the left and Lily was down at the foot on the right, almost as far apart as they could get and still be on the same bed, but I'll take it. It almost makes up for them waking me up in the wee hours of Saturday morning, fighting in the bathtub.

My living room is full of boxes. I have 3 wreathes up so far.
I'm putting up all 4 trees this year. Let's see what "Hurricane" Harold does. It'll be "Baby's first Christmas". There'll be spray bottles near each tree, I think.

Brad was here for the day, so great! He was playing cribbige with me, heard something and noticed a face looking out from the tree. He loves that cat, as do I, but we were laughing our butts off, no screaming or spanking. Trouble always and so fun to watch the stinker.

Remember as a kid---our cat climbed into our Christmas tree----It toppled and tumbled over with him in it-with a loud CRASH!!!!Fortunately Kramps was OK and the tree was rerighted-then Dad guyed it so it wouldn't fall if the cat climbed it again-he didn't!

I did that ages ago, came home and my husky tuxedo was laying in the middle of the downed tree, it was a birthday surprise! She was very sweet and gentle, but curious I guess.I tied it to the ceiling after that. Strange at the vet they had a warning on her cage for vicious! Shocking. Felix seems to enjoy this tree more than I am, I hate to scream and squirt him, but just gets a bit carried away in there. His job seems to be to knock all the crappy ornaments off. It's in a corner, I think that has kept it upright as he jumps into it! See how it goes.

Cats can be such lovable agents of chaos. That's why I named one of mine Havoc. She was a very sweet cat but into everything. My first thought was to name her Chaos but a friend of mine had already used that name for her dog.
