I have A Ultimate G Diamond Edition from 2003 and a Sentria from 2009 however My UG needs a replacement power switch so should I take Apart the Sentria and Put the powerswitch into the UG. this will be my 3rd time taking my Kirby UG apart but I never got to the motor/power area.

Suggestions are needed.

Keep the Sentria the way it is

Have a vacuum shop put a new switch In the the ultimate G
Or get a new switch and install it yourself

I agree. Why disable one perfectly good machine to repair another? Besides, it's less work to buy the switch and install it. You only have to tear down one machine. It's really not that hard. Go for it.
