Hi all,

Got a find and a half today... A new Rainbow black e2 with rainjet, aquamate and power nozzle. It looks to be have been neglected but hey for $200 here in Australia, you can pay double that for a d4!

Have a look at the state of the power nozzle inside and roller brush.... Yukkk

Center belt models are five years old now, almost six. Is that machine 240 volts? I attribute a lot of abuse on the sales presentation, in which the machine is made to sound invincible in order to obtain the sale.

Certainly is

a 240v model -

My whole life I've had terrible rainbow deals haha and then in the last few months:
Bought a d4 SE for $90, resold for $180
Bought a e2 (two speed gold) with Aquamate II and all accessories for $250
Bought a e2 Black with Aquamate III and Rainjet for $200

Rainbow's are mainly sold in Australia only around sydney and brisbane, unlike kirby which is pretty much nation wide.

Interesting,

not may Rainbows around Melbourne? Did they go out with the right hand drive full size Fords and GM cars exported CKD (complete knock down) from Canada? They may be coming back, since Aussie car production has ceased, or will soon cease. Unless they come from China.
I hope the younger work force at Holden, Ford, and Toyota can assimilate into high tech occupations. The elder labor force can retire, hopefully.
Any Filter Queens?

It's interesting

The Filter Queen place is based in Perth, rainbow is Sydney and Cairns and Kirby seems to be centred around Brisbane and Melbourne?

As for cars... Ford and Holden (gm) decided to build cars that nobody wanted to buy, our car market is at two ends, SUV and small cars, they chose not to build either really, (territory only ever had one redesign). And without the others Toyota couldn't survive. So I'm not sad, European cars are popular because of their reliability and spec levels, And that's what I choose to drive.

I'm going to start a new topic tonight, hope it will create some interesting discussion.

Just used the aquamate

God damn it's a good tool. It's super easy to use and dry amazingly quick which must be down to the fact it's a real vacuum that's pulling the solution up.

Um, ok,

my city's police dept. bought Chevrolet (Holden) Caprices and they Love em!
Rear drive, and European Opel lineage, just like the Commodore.
Perhaps it was more the fact that less than a population of 25 million drivers just don't buy cars that often period, and they last a lot longer down under because rust is not as prevalent.
It is also cheaper to import from Asia.
Enjoy the new captive European imports from Asia next decade. Via the newest pan pacific trade agreements.
