It is hard to put a value on the vacuum without seeing pictures.
Your best bet is to put it on Ebay with a min bid of say $50.00. Again with out pictures it is hard to even guess what they might bring. Both vacuums are good vacuums, the Electrolux CB is an awesome machine and there may be someone looking for parts, ect. The GE is also a nice vacuum and Ebay would be a great way to sell it. Search Ebay, both vacuums will come up and judge by those auctions what you think you might get. Morgan |

Re: Pieces, Roger that. What would you call vacuums? Also: Trying again for some photos...I have more detailed shots, but at least...one of each! |

~ Well, your "pieces" are pretty rough, especially the Electrolux. The only thing of any possible value might be the motor -- but given the overall condition of the machine, that's a crap shoot.
The G.E. is okay but it appears to have been painted -- I've never seen one in that shade of green before. But I may be mistaken on that. However, it has a hardware-store replacement plug. And the hose is a "Brand X" replacement, which would be fine for someone wanting a functional vacuum cleaner (albeit not the greatest performer in the Vacuum Cleaner Universe) and most likely of little interest to a collector. (The original hose would have been a woven vinyl material with a color-coordinated stripe running through it. If that is indeed the original color of the machine, then that's the color the stripe would have been.)
Hope this helps. Apparently I come off as being snarky sometimes when I don't mean to be that way at all. I'm just what one of my school teachers once termed "brutally frank." This post was last edited 09/30/2016 at 00:48 |

It works! Here are more photos of both. I found interesting threads about the Electrolux, but no information for this specific model of GE. Do these photos show better? Thanks for the tips! |

Hi Neptune! I might be interested in the G.E. when you decide on a price and figure shipping to zip code 30549 please. Thanks, Toby G. |
