Ok guys and dolls, found this on Mouser. It's an adjustable strain relief that snaps into early Hoover switch covers, like my 825.Very, very little dremel work is needed on the two flats, in fact, not enough to stop an original cord from being reinstalled. The nice thing is, it won't unthread and get loose. Part number 836-m3866, cost.... 1.14
