I am assuming this is the wrong hose unless someone knows how/where that machine end plug would attach....

I believe the early 1205 vacuums had a "pigtail" near the door for the power nozzle.

This 1205 is early with smooth paint,no serial number at front wheel,round bag lock out switch,metal handle,etc.Hose would and could be correct original with PN outlet under hose inlet at front door.Hose cord is not installed properly as clip-on female plug should be at end of hose,not metal handle end.
Different pics would be nice but enough is shown to reveal a hard life.But as with a famous watch they can 'take a licking and keep on ticking'.
