Mike Gravelin is attending a big conference Sun in Atlantic City.  The good news is that he's swinging by my place SAt p.m., staying over.  It'll be great to see him again, an 'overnighter'.  He'll stay in the "Mercy Hospital room".  We'll be able to "catch up" on everything.  I haven't seen him since his wedding.

Yay!

Busy busy weekend ahead, as most know I work for the rainbow distributor in NY and as John stated there is a conference coming up in Atlantic City at the Borgata, I also own a DJ business here in upstate central New York and will be doing 2 events this weekend and after the second event I will be headed to the awesome state of Pennsylvania to see my awesome and hospitable friend John Long. I am rather excited to spend some time with you... It will be great to catch up on the times and I am sure there will be lots to talk about and maybe a couple of hoovers will be run but John if I may call you John, do me a small favor and hold the gloves aside. I honestly don't think we will be needing them this time! ;)

Mike, Mike, Mike

of course there'll be no need for gloves during your visit.  You're far too kind to do that. And, there'll be no contaminants here, so, not to worry.

And, yes, I'll have the iced tea ready , just for you.  Too bad you'll be arriving so late.  I'd have had a nice pasta dish ready for you, complete with some home made marinara ..I know how you enjoy that.  Next time, perhaps the Mash Bash.

In case friends stop by, etc. I think there are about 40 meatballs too.  I'll make some fresh, hot Irish sodabread, nd maybe zucchini bread, too.

Atlantic City, New Jersey.  A bit too rushed for the sausage, bagles, and scrambled eggs I had planned.  Turned out to be Irish sodabread and vanilla hazlenut coffee, (in a Hoover mug, of course).  Hope he can make the Halloween meet.

Believe it or not Philip, I believe there was a fresh bar of Irish spring in the shower! LOL! Along side a bottle of bath and body works.

It WAS a fresh bar of soap.....

in his own private bathroom. I used the downstairs one. After all, I can't have people talking about me. My tip would reflect a used bar of soap. I believe it was either Zest or Dial, (white). And , there IS an arsenal of body gels, foaming soaps, etc from Bath and Body Works, as well as new toothbrushes, and assorted toiletries. (Just call the front desk)
Those sheets were washed and hung out on the line by noon. They are folded and ready for the next victim, I mean guest. Yes, we'll go with guest.

"Oh, YES"

gottahaveahoove's profile picture

My neice said, one time when she was little,  "It's like staying at a hotel here".  I told her, "Yes.  Checkout is at 11".  Luckily,  the girl has a sense of humor.

My cousin's little daughter asked me recently, if it's true that the place is built on a cemetery.  When I told her that it was, she asked, "Is that why it's so creepy

I told her that it wasn't creepy now,  when she's not there.  The week before Halloween, I'm having the whole gang for a Halloween party.  We'll see just how "creepy"  things will be.
