Here is a new one. Just saw this on Cooks Country. Thoughts?

Wow...just wow! I'd have to see that work in the real world. It takes considerable force to brush out a dirty grill, especially with a lot of burnt sauce. Like the carpet bots, they would accomplish this through a lot of repetition. Maybe a laser scouts for residue and stops when there is no more?

I gotta confess...I think our technology has long exceeded our humanity. Now they're really pushing the driver-less electric car concept...I guess IRobot becomes the new reality. I'm not frightened of the future or change, but much of it seems not well thought out.

I find something like this to be over the top. I can heat up the grill and clean the grill grate just as well with a wire bush in less time and expense.

Of course.....

but the price of propane keeps going up. I'm not so inclined to just let the grill get hot enough to burn everything off like I used to.

It's an expensive toy, like the floor bots. Happy to watch someone else own new technology, until it goes mainstream and affordable.

It's not a bad idea. I just find it hard to believe that it would be effective. I don't see where there is enough weight to produce good results. True propane is expensive. However everything has gone way up in price. Except for wages for most.

How about a

"shower cleaning bot"? Nano suction cup technology, sort of like a wide tank track surrounding a resivior, arms to spray cleaner and scrub, and a squeegee to wipe.
