Yesterday, I shopped the World's Longest Yardsale. I started in Signal Mountain, TN, and ended in Crossville, TN. I got a 1982 Eureka ESP, and a Hoover 70, both in deplorable condition for a dollar each*. I also got an Aerus Electrolux caddy with a hose and Sidekick for $10*, a 175 watt mercury vapor streetlight for $2*, and a 1962 Coleman gas lantern for $20*.
*The cost of the item is offset by the fact that this was an expensive 500 mile trip. |

I've heard about this yard sale for several years now.I understand it continues clear passed Tenn.It would be fun to have a large panel truck and just shop and just fill it up with vac's and other treasures.Great finds.Hope to see them clean up and working.Enjoy...Michael |

Thursday we had a huge rainstorm that saturated the 127 corridor here in Crossville & I can tell you mostly everything was not covered during the storm. There's a huge vacuum sale once you get past I-40 on the west side of the street that every single machine and rack of hoses was left out there in the rain so I chose no to buy anything.

It's just my luck that I would leave the sale just before I got to a vac sale. Still a shame they all got rained on.
