I never had an issue with my old H2O Vac Turbo's filter, which I frequently washed despite my infrequent use of the machine. That thing got dirty fast.
I'd try soaking it in one gallon of water with 4 ounces of Odoban. Lowes and Home Depot sell it, I use it both in my cleaning company and for cleaning vacuum filters and it is amazing. It cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes. It is available in a few different scents but I prefer the eucalyptus one since it dissipates pretty rapidly. I can't stand bleach so this is an alternative that works for me, but bleach should have the same effect if you can stand it! Good luck! Myles | ||
