I have a ridgid wet dry vac. It works great bit the hose is a piece of sh.t. It links up all the time and it is very small. I got a ridgid pro hose to use instead with the normal one. I also have a craftsman 9 gallon vac that i use to vacuum the house and the hose on it is 2 inches wide. The ridgid is 16 gallons and it has a 1/2 inch hose. I dont know why they nake a 9 gal vac have a 2 in hose and a 16 gal vac have a 1/2 in hose. If anyone has a ridgid vac let me know.
