I found this today at Goodwill. I have not found a vintage machine this nice in quite some time. It's simply gorgeous. There is a reason Hoover sold so many Converibles. It's a shame they didn't sell many of this one because it really is a beauty.

I'll post final pictures when she is done. But here are the preliminary shots.

Enjoy!

gods it looks brand new what a great find Kyle. i found a 66 on craigslist back in may and was in almost as good of shape. model 66 and 67 are harder to find than the 65's in my experience. great save!

Beautiful vacuum-if only the person that turned it in to that swap shop doesn't realize that ol' Convertable will clean RINGS around ANY bagless dreck sold today!

That is an amazing find! My heart would stop if I walked into a thrift store and saw that sitting there...

Wow Kyle. Great find. Love the color. Even the Vacuum Cleaner Museum doesn't have a model 67. Congratulations.

I have 3. My late father bought one 2 weeks before I was born. It's been used and abused by everyone in the family.I still have it, though. I got a stellar one in N. Canton at Ed Shenkle's... perfect. I also just got one from Sean Curry..an earlier model with the 2 piece, hard plastic medallion. I wasn't thrilled with the 67 when I was younger, but have grown to appreciate them a lot ,more. Fawn Brown, color. I'll post photos later tonight.

Beautiful machine John!

Thanks for sharing that!

Here she is all finished. It's got a bit of hood damage, sadly. Overall, in very pleased. Everything is really nice and clean.

I prefer the model 67 to the model 65. That shade of pink is just so satisfying to the eyes.

Gorgeous find. Love it well and it will forever show its love back through a lifetime of great cleaning
