I have one Hans in really good condition, love the way it sounds and cleans. I remember when I first moved to St. Louis in '88 I went downtown to Famous-Barr's outlet warehouse and saw a bunch of them on closeout, both hard shell and soft bagged models. They had a weak spot in the handle area from what I've heard. They are like a bigger, quieter Elite on steroids. They continued making them in England and sold over the pond under Turbomaster I believe. I used mine frequently and broke the fan, and it turns out, an Elite fan fit it just fine. It had the unique light up feature for the pile adjustments, very cool. I don't remember if they ever had tools on board, but I believe the ones over the pond may have had in later models as they continued on over there. I remember a vac shop guy calling them the "Aggravation" instead of Innovation, guessing there must have been a lot of handle repairs. These days Hoovers break under warranty before they even get parts out for them, and Hoover just sends out a replacement...now that's progress? I digress....

Innovation

One of the better modern Hoovers. As above handles can break I think at either top and/or bottom. In US the Sears only had cordwinder and tool rack at rear and maybe side mounted hose.I think I have att kit upstairs. The last of these I saw were a close out at Big Lots.
