Well... this was quite the bitter-sweet find for me this week.

It started on Monday when I got the sad news of a friend's recent death (it was expected). I was invited to the individuals grieving/estate sale today and after the morning's activities.

I came across this special treat in a corner gleaming with strong, 90s plastic.

Amazingly I could smell this beast, and it was a blast to the past, real nostalgia.

The 1999 Electrolux Epic 6500 sr 75th-anniversary edition vacuum. This baby can suck like no other. I find myself wishing the house would become dirty, just so I could be able to fire my lux up!

This is the special anniversary version (1924-1999 for those less informed about vacuums than me) all though this is just a badge, I think they might have tempered the polymer-based frame, the drive belt seems a little more inefficient than the original. I find myself becoming frustrated with the drive belts inability. But all in all its the best gosh dang vacuum I've ever had.

Say have you ever spilled an entire bowl of fruity pebbles on your carpet and thinking to yourself "aww heck how am I going to be abe to pick up all these rainbow colored sugar shards?" The Electrolux Epic 6500 sr 75th-anniversary edition vacuum is the solution to this wonderful problem:). MY dog Miele gets quite the fright when I turn on the volts to this wonderous machine.

This vacuum also restores a very important time in my life. The white trim with light gray accents are like a shock to the nostalgia centers of my brain and a reminder of the great color schemes and designs of the 90's!

That's all my ramblings for now. I have attached some photos of my Bitter-Sweet find.

P.S. Ignore my granddaughter in the last pic (she's my little helper).
