Ok, so i go up to my Grandparents every week, to mow the lawn, help Grandpa with any 'little' projects he wants done, and vacuum! I want to bring my Electrolux model G with me this week (i already brought the Lx and 30), and im not sure what power nozzle would be best to use. They have standard pile carpet in the Dining room, and front room; Grandma's room, Grandpa's room, and the back porch are extremely low pile, and the front porch is thinner-than-paper-pile carpet. They also have hardwood floors in the bathroom and kitchen.
Is the Pn-1 (New Brushroll), Pn-2 (Used Brush setting), or Pn-4 (early chrome model, worn brushroll) the best to take with? Ill also be bringing a floor-and-rug tool, and a dusting-brush-combo tool.
They have a cat, and 2 dogs, so vacuuming twice a day isnt even enough!
Ill be going in a few days, so lets try and figure out whats best to bring.
Next week is the Silverado with a Pn-4a, so what this week on my Turquoise G?
Thanks
Andy

I have both in the same configurations and In my experience, a PN1 with a new brush roll is pretty tough to beat but a PN2 on the used brush setting is certainly no slouch. You really can't go wrong either way. But hey, they don't take up much room so why not carry both, do a head-to-head and then you'll know for future reference.

That certainly is an idea, but, if i can, i want to just bring one, of the other! The fewer trips to the car, the batter! Their stairs (and mine) are KILLER

PN 1 with the new brushroll is the best option :)

Hmm...I talked to Tom Gasko, and he said Pn-4, so its a 3 way tie! Ill do some experiments here and tell you all what i decide!
