Hello everyone.Ive found something interesting.I have found a few pics of 90s Numatics,in that lot there is a description of Edward that mentions a Turboflo power head. This could be the Medivac nozzle or the original electric nozzle.I will attach a link and a few pics of the Edward and his companions.Theres also a pic of a Charles with the rare colour matching tubes. This might be nothing and if it is then sorry for wasting your time.

Interesting. I've never seen one with the wands a matching colour.

A Blue Henry? Does this mean he held his breath too long?

Coloured Wands

Over the years Numatic have trialled many variations on their cleaners. The coloured wands are aluminium and are painted - usually in grey paint as standard, but sometimes black too. For a short while in the mid to late 1990's they chose to paint them the same colours as the cleaner, mostly on the Basil range of cleaner (Henry always used stainless steel tubes as far as my memory will let me go back).

I suppose as is often the case, Numatic must have realised that although it may have looked pleasing on the eye to some people, it added no value whatsoever, and would have cost them time and money to make & store batches of the same thing in many colours. I have seen this over and over again with many things - as time moves on the basic parts are often made in one colour and one colour alone. Dyson is a perfect example of that.

Turbo heads

This turbo head here is identical to the one which Numatic supplied for their cleaners for many years from the mid 1980's up until I don't know when. It's a Wessel Werk tool and did have some printing on one corner at one time, whether just for Numatic or for all, I am not sure. This one as you can see is plain.

Surely the blue Henry means someone left him outside in winter.

poor Henry.

He's not so fetching with hypothermia.
