I'm working on cleaning my Radiance and I can't figure out how to get into the motor. I've gotten the top cover off, but the black cover that says Tandem Air System won't budge. Riccar experts, any advice?

To take the black cover off their are a few steps. With the vacuum UPRIGHT I highly stress this, take the two screws out of the spring loaded mechanism. Recline the unit back to release the bar off the two circular ends of the springs. On each side there are two motor mounts secured by two screws. Remove those screws and the upper half should lift off of the cleaner head. Remove the gasket on the intake side and then pry off the two round metal retainers. There is then about five two six screws to undo on the cover and that should release the "tandem air" cover off the unit.
