Here is a book I have that should have come with a 61 I think.

There is another part that came with that booklet you posted that tells you how to put your 61 together and how to adjust it and so forth but i love the color of the manual posted. I wonder if anyone has a care and maintenance guide that says what i decribed above as well.
Also do i have permission to save your manual you posted?
Thanks again

Hooverboy81, Your kindness is a benefit to all--even those like me who don't have a keen interest in the Model 61 can use it as a reference. Thanks for posting the manual and its accompanying leaflet.

Everyone is welcome to save the manuals I post. Looking at the manuals is one of my favorite parts of collecting.

By all means...

Save the manuals! I intend to post more! As I have had no use for a scanner thus far, these are just photos of the manuals. I plan to buy a scanner in the upcoming days so my Hoover literature will be available to all. My dear friend Brandon has a fantastic website ( vacuumarchives.org...) which has many rare manuals. I'll update as they are posted! :)
