Windtunnels were very big at this time! Windtunnels in canister and upright form. Bagless Windtunnels were the Twin chamber series self propelled models.

As far as canisters the Hoover PowerMax Supreme S3530, Hoover Turbo Power 5000 S3612, Hoover PowerMax Deluxe S3606, Hoover PowerMax Deluxe S3608, Hoover Windtunnel TurboPower 7000 S3646-900 and TurboPower 7500 S3649.

Lowe's Hardware stores were selling a sparkling silver line known as the Preferred series at this time. There were Windtunnel upright and canister machines.

I believe the F6030-900 Steamvac Widepath was still on the market during this time. I have a similar modeled Steamvac Widepath which is dated February 2002. It's a great cleaner! The Steamvac Widepath of this type is not a Dual V design. It is instead of the original series Steamvac style with 2 headlights and is more reliable than the Dual V style. I'm attaching a photo below. ---Sorry it's not for sale.

This vacuum market I still liked!! Performance of the right machine bought during this time was very very good!! I love all of the power nozzle canisters available during this time. I don't remember which bagless canister style was on the market at this time. I believe the S3755 and S3765. They were powerful units but I'm not a bagless person.
