I was decided to buy a new bagless canister vacuum cleaner.
So after a long search and investigation I finally selected the UltraFlex.
Reviews in the Amazon were very positive and when I tried it in the store against the Dyson Dc39 I discovered that Electrolux is for me.
Some points why.
- it's quiet (Dyson is high pitched and louder)
- very good suction for only 700W motor (Dyson slightly less)
- motor speed control (Dyson doesn't have one)
- dustbin doesn't have any obstruction like cyclone assembly where the dust can get trapped (Dyson has)
- AeroPro Ergo handle is comfortable to my hand (Dyson handle was awkward for me)
- very solid extension pipe (not in the Dyson)
- long cleaning reach 12 meters (Dyson 10 meters)
- fully sealed system and A class for emissions
- very large and thick pre motor filter
- easy to take appart to clear any blockages (not in the Dyson)
- AeroPro silent air technology combination nozzle feels solid and is easy to use
- very good selection of extra tools and other like the long XXL hose
Then negatives
- short hose
- smallish dustbin 1.6 liters
- single cyclone system is only ok (Dyson is multi cyclonic)
- pre motor filter needs washing more often than in good multi cyclone vacuum like Dyson
- butterfly mini tool isn't best solution
- AeroPro Parketto Pro nozzle sticks to the floor too much and decreasing suction doesn't help
